Remote Shutter Release

Looking at getting one of these so I can use bulb mode! One question, is there an option to press it once to open and press it again to shut it or is this dependant on what type of one I go for?

Will any nikon one work or?? Quite confused as to what will be compatible with my d3100!

The button locks when you push it foward, so you can keep the shutter open as long as you like without holding the button.
That one should be fine, just make sure that the connection is right, I dont know what remote connection the d3100 has.

That perticular model has a usb fitting on it I see, I presume the d3100 has a usb female connection somewhere?
