Hi, I have an infa-red remote for my 400d which wont work well through the conservatory windows.

Can anyone suggest another system? maximum reach currently needed is about 15m.

I know they do a 15-20m remote cable switch for father-in-laws Minolta body, might be worth looking to see if an extension cable is available for the remote cable switch for your body.

Depending on the type of fitment - if it's just a small jack plug like I think the 300D was, I would have though a simple extension cable would easily be made up. :thumbs:
 
The Phottix Cleon's have a range of around 50m (radio)

One of FITP's radio triggers with a shutter lead. Works great with my D200/700. Not sure about Canon connections but worth asking.
 
Get in touch with flash in the pan and get a an RF remote from him, I got one this week, was cheap as chips and works brilliantly for my canon.
