Hello all,

I need some help with my Sony DSC-W300 camera, a few weeks ago somehow it managed to get oily type stains on its LCD screen and I have been unable to remove them. I have used microfiber cloth, normal cloth, wiping it for 20mins non-stop to remove it without much luck.

Its bugging me so much, I don't know how it got there since I take care of my gadgets well. Does anyone know how to remove them? I'd appreciate any tips!

Kind regards,

Maverick

i would suggest isopropylalcohol , i cannot say it will be ok for certain though i suspect it will be , perhaps someone else will say yah or nah :)

carefully used isopropyl alcohol would sort the problem, although wouldnt a spectacle swab or glass cleaner be the first port of call?

Lens pen got oily/water smears of my lenses really quick, would it work on the lcd also?
