Lets' just say you were about to replace your camera body, and sell on the old one.

You knew that the old one needed a repair and you knew how much it would cost. Would you have it repaired at your own expense, or offer it cheaper and let the purchaser sort it themselves?

Assuming you're going to end up with about the same amount in your pocket at the end, I'd probably take the hassle of sorting the repair on the hope of a quicker and easier sale.

Why don't you advertise it as BUY IT BROKE OR BUY IT FIXED that way it gives the option to the buyer

Tell them the repair needed, cost involved, and give them 2 prices.

One with one without the repair.

Or alternatively offer it cheaper to buyer but give a rough estimation of repair costs and what's wrong with it and therefore buyer can work out how much it will cost him in total from buying and repairing
