repairing lens

Hi, i accidently let my nikon 55-200 lens roll onto the floor. It still works to a fashion, but you only take photos at 200m - you can't twist the lens. Does anybody know if i can get this repaired - lovely lens and taken some good pics!

You could get it fixed but the reality would be that to repair it would probably cost more than the lens is worth........

Tend to agree with Pete about the repair cost...

I'd be looking for an upgrade now, you can either have a look at the lens and see if you can repair it yourself or sell it on as faulty and re-coup some funds towards the new one

Stick it on Ebay as 'untested'.
As said, if it's the standard 55-200 kit lens then a used replacement isn't much more than £100 and you'd probably find it just isn't economical to have it looked at, let alone repaired.

If it still works at 200mm then sell it as that, it might be useful to someone otherwise sell for spares/repair.
