Replacement foot for the new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens

I have ordered a Nikon 80/400mm lens and have read about the crappy lens tripod mount that comes with this lens...........I see that RRS have a replacement collar and foot for that lens. LC-A13-Pkg: Lens collar and foot package
Has anyone used that and if so how is it????

they said the same about the 300f4..but i have never had any trouble with it....
