Replacement Lens Cap for Fisheye adaptor ideas?

Hello

I recently acquired a few bits in a job lot and one of them was a fisheye adaptor:

Richarm 58mm Super Fisheye Lens 0.25X which comes with a Macro +12.5 on the back.

It is like the one unboxed here, if you don't know what I mean.


The problem I have is it came with a front lens cover but not a rear one. I was trying to find one to buy but it's not proving to be a successful search. I was hoping you'd all have some ideas where to look.

Alternatively I was thinking of getting a filter stack as this would screw onto the back (the fisheye's rear thread is 58mm (male)) but I don't want to buy a pair just to use the back one. Anyone know where I could get just the bottom of a filter stack?

Alternatively again I will just use a filter, but that's hardly an ideal solution!

If you have a local camera shop and are a good customer there, they might let you have an old, knackered filter. just replace the glass with a circle of suitable material and Robert's a parent's sibling!
 
you could look for a push on cap, thats what i did for my raynox without the clippy thing. for the clippy of that i used a white balance lens cap xD
that might be a good option

Then also found something like this: a metal screw-in female threaded 58mm rear lens cap which would be perfect but it's in the US and the want $10 to send it which is twice it's price! http://www.camera-filters.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7428

How would I go about doing that? It is obvious once you have a suitable filter. Atm I only have a couple of cheap UV filters and I couldn't see a way to get thoseapart. I presume some filters are made to come apart and some are not?

Thanks for your replies, I'm sorted one way or another, just have to decide which!
 
Peter, some filters have a ring that screw into the front end to hold the actual filter material in place. The ring can be unscrewed to remove the filter. Other filters have something more like a circlip which is harder to remove, especially without breaking the glass!
