Replacement of integrated metal hood on Ef15mm Fe

Hi,

Does anyone know whether canon servicing can replace the integrated hood on a EF 15mm Fisheye?

has anyone got it done?

It simply screws on like a filter. Look inside the petals and you'll see a ring with two small slots....this unscrews first. The hood is then released by a set screw and unscrews.
The part number changed at the end of 2005 so it's important to specify the age when ordering the part.
