Yes
I have a Nikon 14-24mm and don't really use it that much but do on rare occasions but cant seem to warrant having a £1400 lens in my kit bag that don't get used that much. Thinking of selling it and using the funds towards a medium format set-up ;) but will need a cheaper replacement. I have a 24-70 so need something a little wider when I need it for my urban shots like the one below. Thinking about the 20mm prime  any other options. Oh and forgot its going on my D3 so DX is out the window.

Sounds like you'd enjoy something a little bit leftfield; considered a fisheye? Alternatively, as you have the 24mm covered, then the 14mm f/2.8 might appeal.

Yeh the 14mm is a nice lens but they still fetch £500-600 second hand as the 20mm can be picked up for about £250. If anyone has the 20mm then would be good to here what it is like.

For FF, the Sigma 12-24 is the only affordable option. They do turn up 2nd hand from time to time but not often.

I'd recommend the Voigtlander 20mm .. I didn't get the chance to pick one up, but if they're anything like their 58 /1.4 then they are worth every penny.

The Sigma 20 /1.8 is OK; the current price is stupid! I paid £185 for mine, new, back in December 2008 from Jessops.

The downside is a) it's a bit too heavy; b) front element is 82mm ø which is huge for such a wide-angel.

Tamron 17-35 is also worth a look but the quality of the 14-24mm will have spoilt you.

I've got the Tamron myself. Cheap and cheerful but I rarely use it so couldn't justify anything else. I doubt it comes even close to the Nikor though.

I'd be tempted to try the Voightlander. I'm not that seen on the Nikkor 20mm - very soft sides... certainly my Nikkor 17-35 is way sharper, let alone the 14-24.

The Sigma 12-24 is definately worth a think, but its VERY hard to find one thats not de-centered. Took me 3 attempts to find one with even top / bottom / right left centering.

If you find a good one, its VERY good. Not Nikkor 14-24 good obviously...
