I have been having a go at some macro shots recently and have noticed that some are using a reversed 50mm lens. Can anyone explain how this is done and which are the best lenses to go for.
One way I get 4 x macro is by mounting a 50mm lens on my cameras as normal and reversing a 200mm lens on to that using a connector ring threaded on both sides. The camera then works exactly as normal...
Cheers Manxman2 - Do you have any info on what the ring is and where I can get one from? Although I know I would need to get the 50mm lens first. Also, do you use a prime or zoom 50mm?
