Edit My Images
Yes
I've updated my website a bit.

Th main changes are in the galleries. Almost all images have been replaced, I now have far fewer but hopefully only the better ones.

http://www.elad.co.uk

The main purpose of it at the moment is to have something to show anyone that's interested, other photographers, etc. And to have a way for people to contact me.
When I have time it'll develop into more of a portfolio, and I'll add functionality to purchase prints.

All comments appreciated, no matter how harsh

OK - I'll go first and sorry it's a little harsh, there are some big issues that stop me going to far.

On the home page, the biege background of te filmstrip images cuts the grey text in half, making it difficult to read. The rest of the text is no black so no issues there

The galleries don't show a thumbnail on the gallery main page.

When you click through to the galleries the don't size properly on IE6

Cheers

Hugh

Hi

Love the film graphic on homepage. Site work quite well generally, easy to navigate etc.

How is someone supposed to find your site? If it's via search engines there is very little text for them to work with. So maybe each gallery category needs some text and maybe on homepage mention the types of photography you do.

The only other point is if you navigate through your site you'll notice when you load the equipment page the header moves to the left slightly. Must be an issue in one of the divs

I'd advice upgrading the IE version unless your living in a developing country no reason what soever to still be on IE 6 :nono:

err actually there is, as its still widely used by many companies in the UK - (not in the developing world :bang:) so I'll just pop off and ask for a company wide IT upgrade on your say so shall I

The wide use of IE6 is good reason to still consider it when building a site

I'd advice upgrading the IE version unless your living in a developing country no reason whatsoever to still be on IE 6 :nono:

Have to agree with boyfalldown, If making a website you need to make it Usable in IE6 as a vast majority of the population still use IE6 and therefore you could lose out on potential customers if your website doesn't function properly.

Thanks for that.

boyfalldown - I haven't noticed any of those things on Firefox or IE7/8, will give it a bash in 6 tonight :)

Have just tried it in FF and safari, there are non of the issues I was seeing using IE6
