RHS Wisley Butterflies & Flowers

RHS Wisley near Guildford have butterflies in the glashouse until the 22 Feb, so thought it would be a good place to try out my new macro lens, forgotten how difficult macro is !

Nice colourful series, I didn't realise Wisley had butterflies, is it a one off thing then as you state there until the 22nd?

This may be silly question, but how did you combat the change in temperature outside then in to heating, with the camera prone to steam up.

and let the camera and lens acclimatize to the humidity, we were in there for over an hour

Was it worth seeing? The other half wants to go at the weekend.

Yes, lilies etc are stunning and butterflies were plentiful, but do bear in mind that we did see quite a few dead ones as they have a short lifespan and the exihibition is ending in a couple of weeks.
