D'oh - looked at the typhoon and thought "what the hell's that above the cockpit" then I realised - it's the plane behind :bang:

Nice shots, I think a tighter DoF would improve them though :shrug:

Nice shots Matt, It's a shame we can't view them large size to get that sense of drama.
I presume you were using your 400mm lens, do you think I would get any keepers at 300mm?
I like the prop blur on the C130.

Kristy - you'll probably see the Typhoon but probably not many of the others at Farnborough - could be wrong ***'!

King Boru - yup it is an SU-22 - was amazed it still flew to be honest...

Snap Happy - that was as tight a DOF I could have and have the whole plane in focus too - it's a trade off in a sense. I do know what you're saying. Oh and my 100-400 only goes to F5.6 anyway!
