Riisitunturi National Park

For five glorious minutes, the sun dropped below the cloud and painted the world pink.
Riisitunturi is famed for its snow clad trees due to the humid micro climate and freezing temperatures. A phenomenal place to explore, made even better by some favourable lighting at the end of the day.

Thank you, it took a good hour of searching for a composition without any tracks in the foreground snow!

Thanks Ian, I do, but I prefered the soft focus on the arch as the sparkle on the snow felt a bit too busy for the aesthetic I wanted!

Thank you, even without the light, the whole day was spent marvelling at the surreal landscape at riisitunturi, one of, if not the most scintillating places I have ever visited
