HELLO,
I'M VERY NEW TO PHOTOGRAPHY AND TO THIS SITE,BUT I HAVE START SOMEWHERE AND I NEED HELP.
I WOULD LIKE TO GET A "RING FLASH" TO PRACTICE MACRO STUFF AND I AM TORN BETWEEN THE SIGMA EM-140 AND THE METZ 15 MS-1.
YOU ALL KNOW MORE THAN I DO,CAN YOU ADVISE ME.

personally wouldn't bother with a ring flash, there difficult to control / diffuse and can leave a unpleasant reflection in a bugs eye. Up to 1:1 and a diffused Off camera flash will do just fine.

As above. Also, ringflash represents a significant investment - if only used now and then.
BTW. You might want to turn CAPSLOCK off. Some consider it shouting.
 
Guys,
I am trying to get hold of a Slik padded case 1820 or at least something to
fit my 780dx with head.
Is their a specific area within this forum,I should be making that known.I have tried the wanted area but it wouldn't give me access....

Bloody hell have you checked my original "greeting post" entitled HELLO.
Best I lay off the wine gums.
Anyway for fear of breaking the rules,if you have one of these you know
where I am.

At my time of life "cobber"you bat where and when you can,and at this rate
i'll make the 100 and get the tripod bag.
But that is the last time I mention the 1820 Slik tripod bag...ever!....promise.
