Ringflash on a budget

I cant stretch to cost of a big ringflash-say a Lencarta-so what is best alternative?

I have one along the lines of this one that I used quite a few times when I first got it but haven't touched it for a while now. It fits over an SB-800 or SB-600.

Thanks Rob I havent got either of those guns sadly. I want to use it for portriats/fashion not macro work,if it makes any difference.

To be honest - and I'm not trying to get you to buy a Lencarta Safari - none of those on your list are going to be any use for portrait/fashion.

Even the ones that really are ringflashes are far too small. A ringflash of that size is only good for macro use, not for subjects at portrait distances.

There are some attachments, such as the Orbis, which work reasonably well with a hotshoe flashgun, but they need high ISO and gentle handling
