Risked it! (Partial Eclipse 20/03/2015)

Since it's quite overcast, I thought it was worth trying with a bridge superzoom and a polariser - f/8, 1/2000th got me this at approximately the maximum eclipse. Resized in camera for speed. (The camera is pretty much disposable but would appear to have come through the ordeal unscathed - had it been a valuable asset, I wouldn't have risked it!)

Ended up with a lot of cloud cover in Sheffield so the sun was quite faint. Could only just make it out through the clouds - but that meant it was possible to see it. Hope it hasn't done any damage to me or the camera.... (wont post here as not my thread ).
