It's almost always no good to take photos, when the sun is open and shining directly.
Try to do this when the sky with clouds or when sunrise up/ down time

in at those times the colour temperature is warmer and some shadows can help modelling items in the shot
unfortunately for some of us we just have the moment available in the mid day
which i really wish to avoid
perhaps in the winter when the sun comes up and goes down different it might help me
