Rixton Clay Pits - Assorted creatures

Hi,

Spent a couple of hours at Rixton Clay Pits searching for various animals.... The Dragonflies were everywhere, although not very helpful as they kept landing on me!

1.Hoverfly I think?

2.Grasshopper... Wish I had paid more attention and got more(less?) DOF on this one

3.Dragonfly

4.Butterfly

5.Another more colourful (and skittish) Butterfly

C&C welcome, Still trying to get used to Macro, the manual focus seems to be letting me down at the moment, always slightly off... Next time out i am going to 'bracket' some focussing to see if its my eyes...

#1 is indeed a hoverfly and all are very good shots, sharp and well exposed, I think I like the grass hopper best
