Looking for a 'rocket blower' for my 5D Mk1.

Are they virtually all the same (?), seen ones for around £11 - £15, would this price bracket be ok? I take it you don't need to spend big money on one, mostly all the same??

Advice appreciated!

THIS is the one you want. :thumbs:

If you have got a Jessops near you they have them in for £9.99. They are a Giottos make but in their own packaging, well mine was when I bought it about a year ago.

Not that I usually recommend buying from Jessops of course...

They are all pretty much the same, just have a look to make sure it filters the air somehow, as you dontwant to be blowing dusty air all over your sensor!

wontolla;

Took your advice and ordered the one from your link (£8.75 & free post), thanks!

I've never used one, so do you lock-up your camera mirror and use the 'rocket blower' holding camera facing the ground?

Thanks.

I've got a couple of Lenspen blowers which both have filters in them to stop you blowing dust into the camera but any make will do. Make sure the mirror is locked up and the camera is facing downward facing, and most important, make sure you don't hit the sensor with the blower. As you squeeze it the nozzle moves about a bit, so make sure it's not too far inside the camera body that you catch it on something.
