rocket blower to clean lenses?

Hi guys,

Can you use a rocket blower to clean inside a lens?

I thought that they were primarily for the sensor?

No, you'll just end up blowing dust around inside the lens....

That's what I thought.

Somebody has offered me a lens, and when I have asked about dust, they have said they don't think that there is any as they used a rocket blower once every month or so to clean it?

They probably mean the outside surfaces of the glass.
