Hi all,

I want to get a rolling case for my kit. It needs to house 2 x 1 series bodies, a 70-200mm f2.8, 35L, 50 1.4, 135L, 24-105, 2x ext & 2x 580ex flashguns.

Any idea what size I'd need for that lot & any suggestions? Peli 1510? 1610? etc?

Thanks in advance

Phil

Peli 1560 with dividers or Think Tank Airport international should give you plenty of space :)

Many thanks - I'll investigate both. Are Calumet's versions worth considering? Would you go with foam or dividers?

Don't have any experience of Calumet versions, personally i would go for padded dividers as then if/when you buy/sell kit its easy to re arrange kit :)

1510 maybe mine takes 2x5d bodies a 70-200L a 24-70L a 17-35L 2 flashguns and has a big space thats occupied by a superclamp adapter and 10m ttl cable

go for dividers and a lid organiser for maximum storage space

oh and I can respec mine to take 5d2 24-70 17-35 2 flashguns 2 lightstands and all my strobisty stuff for a day :D

I'm a big fan of thinktank photo's airport international....depends why you want a hard case though really.

Many thanks for all the responses - will the 1560 cope with the depth of a body with grip (well integrated - 1 series bodies)?
