Rome in January

I went in feb this year and should think you'll be fine with those. You'll need the wide angle for the colloseum, widest ive got is 17mm but soon got round this with a huge 10 shot pano for the inside of the colosseum.
Enjoy yourself it really is a great city, i cant wait to go back.

Wide Angle for inside the Pantheon. 24-105 would suit Rome perfect. Do the Vatican Tour, well worth the few euros,a very informative and lots of photo opertunities if you are into architecture.

Just the streets in general and people watching, around every corner you will find something to shoot.

Married there in 2002 and returned last year for 10th anniversary, never get tired of Rome

Enjoy.
