Here is Rosie our 4 month old Sprocker puppy, full of the joys of spring and I think we can safely say loving life as a farm dog!

With the last 2, the focus is slightly out on her head as I had the focus point set to the centre... this was my first go with my new 7D, can anybody give any advice on which AF area is best to use- single point af (which I have used here), zone af or auto select af mode?

Gorgeous puppy and already getting the dirty feet I see!!!

Yes set to servo... exif is f2.8 200mm and shot with AV mode. I wonder if I needed to increase the aperture to f4 so that the dof isn't as deep therefore bringing the body more to the front and merging it in with the head?

Yes already getting muddy and wet, she has had countless baths not out of choice but she comes down to do the cows with us and comes back green!!!

What a cracking little sprocker. No 3 for me. Much the same as Peter in that we have spaniels, 2 cockers, 2 springers and a Lab. Super dogs, eager to please. if you are like me, then your shutter count on your camera will soon be going up and up.

Thanks everyone. She is absolutely crazy, in to everything, loves going to the beach and in the sea. Luckily we live on a 150 acre farm so she has plenty of places to go for walks, she is just fantastic and as you say so eager to please... and knows when she's being naughty (normally buggers off or hides under the bed or sofa!). SHe's just super :)
