I am finally going to replace my ancient, heavy Velborn tripod with a Red Snapper having seen nothing but good things said about them over the past four years on this website. Since buying my D7000, I have begun doing 'video panoramas' where I sweep the camera along the horizontal plane to take a panorama. For this, I am thinking a 3-way head is infinitely better - is that correct? And, for the money (£60 for the RSH-24 and RS-284), is there a better 3-way head and legs combination?
