Rubber coming unstuck.

Hi all, the rubber on my Canon 1DX is starting to come unstuck. Does anyone know if a special adhesive is required to repair it or will a 'good glue' do the job. It's just at the bottom end of the grip section where it's starting to come loose, is it a trip to Canon for it or can it be done without ?

I just used some evostick impact adhesive on mine

A decent double sided tape should do the trick, I have used 'Carpet tape' in the past with good results.

My 1dx has done the same, the CF door rubber is off the camera. When using glue you have to be carful as some of the rubber has to come off for repairs.

Yeah this - don't use the instant one, I think they do one that takes 2 or 4 hours to dry. It's much better
