Rucksack needs..

Hi everyone,

I'm brand new to photography and this is my first time on here. I haven't even bought my camera yet. Hopefully getting it in the coming weeks but I need some help with finding the bag I want. It's quite specific so I'm hoping someone here might have seen one somewhere....

I won't be carrying much kit, infact it'll prob just be my camera as I'm not getting any extra lenses/flashes etc...so I don't need a big bag. I want a back pack that doesn't look too much like a camera bag.
I guess ideally I don't want a camera bag, I won't a normal rucksack that has a camera section in it if that makes sense!? The idea is that when I go away I'm not going going to have to take my camera bag, then another bag with my stuff in. I've got one bag that I can put my camera in, but also fit my ipad in and a few other bits, I don't need multiple segments for lots of camera equipment.

In a perfect world, if this bag does exist I'd love the camera to by side loading as well so I wouldn't have to take the bag off my bag to unzip it, but I think I could be wishful thinking that a bag like exists?! If you've seen anything that might fit then please let me know.

The Lowepro Fastpacks have side-loading and don't look like camera bags. You could take most of the padding out to get the rest of your stuff in.

Crumpler, kata and others mark half photo bag.

Tenba and domke make special wraps you could use and it put in a normal bag you have already.

Thinktank, lowepro and kata all make holster type bags, there's also a billingham one.

Crumpler make a 'banana hammock' fits smaller dslrs, very clever to put inside a bag.

You can use lens cases separate to a wrap around the body, I think crumpler make a little padded box with dividers that you're meant to put inside a rucksack...

Obviously I'm a big fan of crumpler but a lot of other companies have ways to put your camera inside a bag you already have, good luck!
