Ok, looking for some sdvice to make the best of my gear on rugby games. My local team have gone up a league in Scotland and i'm finding it harder to get decent shots as everything feels clumped up, little player seperation and a lot less shots and decent shots taken.
I'm doing the stool at the end of the try zone, quarter to half way from touch to post.
I've got a d500 which i'm using a 120-300 2.8 and 1.4 tc ( so a 200-400 f4 on crop) but anything inside 5-10 from the line is too close and i try to switch to the d810 which i've got a 70-200 2.8 on. Decent fps on d500' d810 doesnt feel as good.
I also have a 150-600c which doesnt make it in bag currently.
I have other lenses but these seem the main candidates. Would those with more sports experience than me advise how they would set up for club rugby.
