While out on my travels today stopped by the ruins of All Saints Church in Segenhoe, Bedfordshire.
A little history.....
Before 1350 the church stood in Segenhoe village, as the village was gradually abandoned the church declined, in 1854 a new church was built in nearby Ridgemont and All Saints was used as a mortuary chapel until mid 20th century. By 1972 it was a ruin and was declared redundant in 1980, in 1982 it was bought by the County council.
Here's a few photos, all comments welcome and thanks for looking.
