With the good weather over the summer the water on the reservoirs was quite low, this old rusty fence running into the water below a dam wall on Loch Thom caught my eye. I was trying to download a colour and B&W for comparison but I'm having a heck of a time with Flickr at the moment so it's just the B&W for now, I'll add the colour version later (if I manage to download it)

Colour image added, (seems it was my AVG) I'm not sure about the sky on the coloured version ?

Your eye follows the fence but it just goes into the featureless water?

Thanks for your feedback Nick, it just brought a smile to my face, it was just the higgledy piggledy shape of the fence disappearing beneath the waves, also the colour caught my eye, it was a really bright orange rust (still trying to upload the colour version).

Yeah, like it. Nice and minimal with a quirky twist.

I once saw a gate in the middle of a field. No fence, just a gate :)

Anything with rust in needs to be in colour. Subscribed.

Interesting target, probably worth a revisit and try a load of angles
 
Jeremy thanks. Earl, I think with the rain we've had it will probably be under water, I may have one at a different angle, I'll have a look.
