Safari not so goody

Can't comment on a mac, but on windows when you invoke the print menu, it normally tries to communicate with the printer there and then. Does it do it in other applications when you try and print or just safari ?

the short cut - apple and p, does that do anything?

Prints fine from other applications, just seems to be a Safari thing. It works fine from Firefox as well.

hmm, maybe try deleting your printer drivers and reinstalling them user>library>printers i think

As above, printer works fine with other applications. It's not even getting to the select printer stage.

What's "apple" + P?

Have you checked that there are no errors on the page you want to print and that it is fully downloaded? Should tell you bottom left hand corner if there are errors on page alternatively press esc before printing. If still fails try to save page then print from there.

I guess by Apple and P lawrence means cmd and P
