Recently I have made a couple of purchases, a lens and a flash gun, and did some digging on-line to find the lowest prices and then checked out the places I'd shortlisted: Camerabox had many poor reviews, accepting that dissatisfied customers are more likely to post a review than happy ones. However, I decided that saving a few pounds wasn't worth the risk. If you want to check it out yourself try camerabox reviews in Google.

Checking out the three domains you've listed, digitalfirst.co.uk is listed as being registered to Camerabox Ltd of [removed] whereas the address for camerabox.co.uk is [removed] The details for digital-cameras.com are [removed] though this domain is also shown as being for sale. I couldn't find contact details for any of the 3 companies but did notice that all three have Design and e-commerce by Tingleweb which does suggest that all 3 have pretty close links.

Try Google shopping for ideas of where you may be more comfortable making a big purchase, you may also be able to see reviews for shops listed. For the same item I came up with:

cameraworld.co.uk - £234.99
Park cameras - £250.32
martinscamerashop.co.uk - £256.19

Bought my SB600 from Camerabox... seems they have a bit of a reputation, but to be honest I had no problem with them.

I purchased an Nikon SB600 and nikon 105mm VR lens from Camera Box - both delivered next day with no problems. However, shortly after I ended up with a fraud transaction on my credit card (only a small one) but I'd used the card twice, once at Camerabox and once for a course I went on. I'm not saying it's a fault at Camerabox - just telling you what happened!!!
