Send via the Global Shipping Programme, you post to a UK address, eBay (via Pitney Bowes) then take responsibility to make sure it gets to the buyer.
Any damage in transit is covered by eBay, it's one of the only safe ways to send glass. It's not perfect, problems can still happen but you're more likely to get your money back this way than if you had to do a claim via Parcelforce...
Country wise I wouldn't worry about it, if I were to ban people who have made things the hardest then I'd have to ban North Americans over any other yet that hasn't stopped me from sending to them.
