Yes
Took these up on the River Ribble at the end of October, the light was bad so I had to crank the ISO up a bit, seeing as i`m fairly new I was quite happy with them.I must be doing something wrong when resizing my pics for the web as they lose a lot of sharpness..............:help:

Constructive criticism please.

Nikon D200 with various lenses.

Nice captures, I'd like to be sitting at the bottom of the falls with a net.

A pity about the large copyright symbols, they spoil it. Try something smaller in a corner or a smaller but translucent text.

Point taken about the text,thanks,

3 mile upstream of Settle, place called Stainforth.

Aye, that's nice work, well done. :)

They lose a lot of sharpness when I resize them, something i`ll have to suss out. I have them, and some others, uploaded to picasa web album, can I link to that or is that not the done thing on here?

I shall try that this evening, thanks.

Nice shots F I got some of the same palce "stainforth force" but mine need processing yet will post when done
yours gwh

Nicely captured.

Resizing causes softening so pictures will need sharpening again after resizing.

add my 2p
I just came across this thread, and yesterday I was at Stainforth hoping to catch some Salmon jumping... (nothing doing) I guess they must of finished for this years migration
so took a few slow shutter speeds shots instead
there not great as the weather was pouring with rain, in pretty poor light

well done for getting some action in front of the lens fracster

cheers Chris
