Saltwick Bay and Black Nab

Managed to get away this weekend with some friends to Whitby.
The most fruitful excursion was to Saltwick bay as low tide hit and the sun began to set. A very nice relaxing evening of rock hopping and tide dodging before heading to the pub.

First time out with ND grad filters and a cheapo (that means colour cast) ND filter. Normally I take pictures of things that move.
Comments and criticism welcome as I'm quite new to this and learning.
These are more or less straight from the camera as a JPG as I've not much time to filddle with things at the moment.

I was racing the tide back in before it became time to swim.
I could blame it on a wonky rock but there must have been more level ground available

will look at other options next time

Nice to see you posting some of the photos Matt, it was a great weekend. We will certainly have to have more photography meetups in the future.
