I've been trying to inject a little more 'fun' into our shoots as I can be a bit of the traditional Dour Scot and pics can look a little on the somber side! I like somber but I think fun will sell better!

But did you take it at a wide focal length? The boys head seems out of proportion

nah - 60mm. He is leaning right forward and with his arms back like that I it does narrow his shoulders.

maybe thats why, 60mm full frame if he is very close to the lens would give some distortion, I'd probably be shooting this more at 85mm+
