is now available to preorder from Vodafone from £229 on selected pay monthly agreements ......and I had an email from John Lewis the other day asking me if I wanted to be informed when it arrived in their store, so will wait a few months for further reviews but so far its looking the pick of the bunch

£299 is bit expensive, as are all tablets on contracts...
3g 16GB is going for £499. and I doubt that you will be able to get it on 12months contract for less then £20pm

asus is a bit cheaper.motorola way more expensive acer is rubbish...
 
First experience from a quick play with it was that it seemed pretty damn smooth, and it is indeed very slim. I'm waiting to have a proper play with it soon, although I can't see myself buying a tablet at all :lol:
 
I really want to buy a tablet but there seems to be new Android ones all the time which makes me a little reluctant to shell out for something that will be replaced sooner rather than later - its pone thing I like about Apple, if you buy something you know that it will be supported for at least a couple of years (iPhone, iPad OS updates) with some of the Android stuff I'm not so confident.
That said I prefer the "tinkering" and possibilities of the open Android OS
