Samsung Galaxy S3 macro mode

Hi again. Been out testing my new SGS3 and it's camera unit. It has a macro specific mode and actually does rather well for a camera in a phone. Not the nicest of subjects and not as close as i'd have liked, but i couldn't gain focus any closer. You can also see a pretty good DOF too.

It quite surprised me how good it is for a phone.

Indeed. Wonder if theres any adapters that allow getting even closer to push that DOF?

Bit of a long time since i posted these. Went out today and tried to get some more but only managed to get one that i liked. So here it is

Obviously not fantastic but i was very chuffed considering it is only a mobile phone.
