well after doing alot of research i decided i wanted to try this lens so i went and got it..
rough cost was about £250 quid.compared with the nikon version that is nearly 1k its a bit of a steal!
now this lens is manual focus only so its hard to get to grips with it,
the view finder and the lcd screen on the d5100 is not fantastic so nailing focus is really hard,
i found the focus comfir light and turned the range finder on and that is much much more helpfull not perfect but pretty dam good..
spent about an hour last night just trying to get random shots of stuff testing it
these are two examples,
when u nail it its razer sharp!
so really defo worth the £250 quid!
ps this is the nikon version with chip built in so works on the cam fine
