Okay, probably not the best shots ever .... but I reckon some fun times to come with this lens ;) an 8mm fisheye for £200, probably the best value out there and the build quality is exceptional!

yes Darren, they also do the Nikon version and that is fully 180 degrees! .... :thumbs:

Hmmm sounds like a christmas present to me :thumbs:

Its the kind of thing that you have in your camera bag for the occasional image and for certain things it is really nice and just that little bit different. Just don't over use it :)

Is the Nikon one full frame?

Maybe I should do a search and have a look :D

Someone was selling one of these (or v similiar) on here a few days ago - was it the one you bought?

I quite fancy one for the odd wedding shot.

Does yours work in AF or is it all MF? Not that I imagine that will matter ?

it was me who sold one recently but not this one. The lens is produced and marketed under a few different names, Falcon of course and samyang come to mind. It is a cracking lens. I only sold it as I have moved from Canon to Nikon and would have bought another but for a Nikon 10mm coming up for sale.
