Samyang Canon fit with electronic interface

I was thinking of buying the samyang fisheye but thought i might as well wait until a canon version with electronic interface is availible. Has anyone heard of one coming out etc?

no an not likely to be. save up the cash and buy a proper eos mount fisheeye

The Canon version of the Samyang works a treat as it is.The depth of field is huge at 8mm(closer to 10mm in reality).Just set the thing at F5.6 and focus at about 1-2m and everything is in focus.

I'd rather not have to pay £600+ for a one trick pony lens especially as the samyang has equal image quality to the canon. Id just like to use it with the Av and Tv modes.

If you really want focus confirm, get a Pentax mount and a PK to EOS converter (about £10 on ebay).

All you need to do with that is to set the focus once, use Av mode and flick the aperture ring as you need it instead of the camera wheel. It is dead simple compared with the 85mm
