Got a problem with a Sandisk Extreme 16gb CF card anyone know what warranty they give on cards?(think its just over 12 months old) i cant even format the card now in camera or on PC?

:-(
 
What happens when you try to format it?
 
Lifetime warranty on Sandisk cards. I had a problem with one of my 4 year old cards earlier this year. I had to post it to Hungary I think, after filling out a form from their website. Replacement card arrived in the post a few weeks later and was a newer/faster version of the same capacity.

Cheers for reply i have contacted sandisk just got to fill out all the questions they want to know, will post here how i get on so other can view :-)
 
Where did the card come from? If e-bay, it's entirely possible (maybe even probable) that it's not genuine, so might not have any lifetime warranty.

Seem to remember when I had a problem with a USB sandisk memory stick, complete the forms and then I needed to send it off to them as the retailer I had bought it from was no longer trading - they were happy for me to return to the retailer for an exchange once they had verified everything...

Hope you get it sorted out
