Sandisk HD Video?

My fiancee has just brought me a Sandisk Extreme HD Video card for my birthday. I already have a couple of Sandisk cards but they are not HD Video, does this make any difference to the card at all ( Quality of shots ) as I will not be taking any video with my camera, only stills. I know i should know this but until I ask I have got no idea. Thanks for your help.

Nope. Only difference it may have over your current cards is the data transfer speeds .
