Santa Cruz Carnaval

A few months ago whilst working on a cruise ship, I had the privilege of seeing Tenerife's Santa Cruz Carnaval. Here are some pics of both artists and punters.

That last one is absolutely fantastic! The laughing policeman in the background just makes it better!

Really like them. You've composed well (IMO) throughout the set - although I tend to prefer off centre subjects so I'm biased.

It's a really nice study of humanity, people and fun.There's lots going on in the background too.

Crit is very minor...

#1 is a tad unsharp & subject a tad over to the left a bit more would be nice
#6 is a bit too orangey for my tastes
#7 subject to the right, same with #9 (although that also has dead space to the top - maybe a landscape orientation would have worked better to give room for elbows)
I'm also not a fan of people in b&w (but that's just me). I'd like to see skin tones and colour in such a vibrant setting.

10 & 11 are brill - love how you've included the background (you've done that in a lot of them, but those two stand out for me)
