Thanks for the explanation! I'm sure he's not daft at all. He likes to be economical with words. Given the right circumstances one word is more than enough. :tumbleweed:
 
Sorry, Box Man. I was indeed referring to Steven Spielberg's film "1941" which involves the Santa Monica pier (in particular, the Ferris wheel. Well worth watching if you enjoy SNL type comedy.
