Santa Pod Dragstalgia 2015

I dont know how many members here regularly attend Santa Pod but i thought as my first post id share some of my photos from this event. All where taken on the Saturday and i was about 1/2 way up the track.


I have a huge respect for the guys who ride bikes up the 1/4 mile:

I watched via Eurodragster as I was unable to drive due to an operation. Aiming to be back there later in the year I think.

For your shots, they're a little too tightly cropped for me - I'd like to see some more space of where they're headed

Its actually done on purpose for a show. They pore petrol over the wheel and light it and then the driver does a burn out for a few seconds and then moves off. If you want to see what its like from onboard the car watch this video:

Ahh I see. That's pretty cool. Never seen that being done before. Everyday is a school day .
