Quick catch up onion and conkers are excellent the only thing that gives away the conkers looking on here is the slight shine on the stalk.

Cake looks better than mine - did you use real cream?

And as I said on Flickr I love todays feet shot.

...perhaps I should have been clearer - it's more about the difference between the base area and the sharp transition to the black (featureless) background....

I wanted something very stark against the flowers & vase Jim, that would make them really stand out and not compete with anything else, also the flowers are dead, hence the black background, but still set up in the conservatory, so may try a white & cream option or even a textured, if I get round to that along with today's shot, I'll pop them on Flickr for a comparison for you, as I think it would work with something less harsh as well, as per your suggestion.

Got to process, but bought 3 different papers this morning, a buff colour, a grey and a watercolour paper in white, so when processed I'll let you know. I've done them all as just an infinity curve.

Still life with Buddha

Just a collection of bits & bobs I thought might go together, wanted to give the feel of an old still life painting.

Thanks for trying those Sarah - of the two I prefer the Grey version but with now the montone infinite curve the shot looks really empty now so of the three I definitely prefer the original

LOL I am writing with the correct hand!! Lefties are correct! & no, I didn't come up with any more ideas! I've just bought some more dino's as well. Herbivores this time, but they are harder to imagine stories for.

Roses

Bought these to photograph as I loved the colours, then was looking at them from above & loved the way the cellophane reflected the flowers, so stood them in a vase on the floor as I thought the green of the carpet complimented the flowers.
