Saving printer software

Hi
Just bought a new laptop so wondering could I
just save the printer software (kodak hero 5.1) from my old laptop onto a portable hard drive then transfer it onto my new laptop as I've lost the disc ?

Can you not download it?
Is the software on the old laptop even compatible with the new OS?
