SB-600

A friend's SB-600 has packed in and he's asked me to search for someone who can repair it for him,so i thought i'd try in here,thanks.
Nikon want too much money to repair it.

you may need to give some more info about what has packed in?

Does it power up? if it does what about it isn't working?
