I haven't used one of these, but I have bought other stuff from them and it all does what it says on the tin.

I looked at these a while back and my research suggested they were perfectly acceptable.
Bearing in mind you are just talking about a battery box to hold a pile of AA's and a connecting cable, there isn't exactly anything hi-tech here.
Its not like the plastically bad fitting grips or something
In the end I found I didn't need the extra battery power for what I do, so didn't buy one...

Only hmm moment with that one is it takes 6 cells the Nikon one is 8. Presumably just means it runs down quicker?
